OK, I'll admit it, ... You have me hooked. Very good stuff from top to bottom.
The Barbaro entry was maybe the most interesting thing I've read concerning a horse. As Nitro said, you and blogs seem to be custom made for each other.
"Just the fact that people seem to be getting dumber and dumber. You know, I mean we have all this amazing technology and yet computers have turned into basically four figure wank machines. The internet was supposed to set us free, democratize us, but all it's really given us is Howard Dean's aborted candidacy and 24 hour a day access to kiddie porn. People... they don't write anymore, they blog. Instead of talking, they text, no punctuation, no grammar: LOL this and LMFAO that. You know, it just seems to me it's just a bunch of stupid people pseudo-communicating with a bunch of other stupid people at a proto-language that resembles more what cavemen used to speak than the King's English." - Hank Moody
just to let you know i heard on ESPN radio yesterday that the players are actually either starting or are scheduling talks to take place with the owners in MLB to try to implament some of the things he pointed out in his report... what those will be no one knows just yet.. we still have to wait... but good read on the blog on that
In response to the fantasy duds thread, I'm sure you recall our DM league...
This was my team:
First pick: Bush Second pick: Steve Smith (traded both in a package deal, think I got Houshmanzadeh and Morris when I thought Sammy was going to actually do something)
Also had, from your list: Barber, who actually did work well for me until the week I lost in the playoffs, when he had to tank when I facing LT.
Had Lee Evans too, was my third or fourth pick, he was a worst case option as I really wanted Colston.
canes: Fueled by victory. Devastated by defeat.
